CHARITY FINANCE CHIEF JAILED

A former finance manager for Dorset Scope was jailed for two years and 9 months after pocketing £150,000 of the charity's cash.

John Cunningham, 35, of Leeson Drive, Ferndown, spent the money of expensive cars and motorbikes, before turning himself in, Bournemouth Crown Court heard.

He pleaded guilty to theft charges.

Judge John Beashel described his actions as "sustained and deliberate."
